Vinçotte (Member of Group Kiwa) offers advisory services in inspection, certification, conformity assessment and training. The independent certification body is responsible for the validation of each awarded CO2 Neutral label. It is checked whether the whole CO2-Neutrality process has been carried out in accordance with the internationally recognized PAS 2060 standard.
Has the carbon footpint correctly been calculated, in line with international standards such as the GHG protocol? Have measures been taken to reduce CO2? Have the remaining CO2 emissions been offset through a high quality voluntary certified climate project? To carry out this validation, Vincotte (Member of Group Kiwa) has drawn up a CO2-Neutrality protocol that clearly describes the validation process and what is being checked.
